The brief; To increase awareness of Nylex’s ‘RE-think water’ campaign and inform the public about Nylex’s range of water-saving products
The response; Harness online communities and existing online destinations for people concerned with Australia’s water crisis and what they can do about it
- Introduced Nylex to savewater.com.au to broker deals involving content sharing, use of databases and networks of contacts
- Build a presence on Nylex.com.au that included a water saving tip feed, product widget and store locator
- Re-purpose these widgets and content for use on Facebook
- Promote Nylex through Facebook and build a community within who can be taught about Nylex and how to savewater
The campaign has just launched, and in a scaled down state due to Nylex’s position during this financial crisis. The value that Nylex will get out of a relationship with Savewater.com.au is immeasurable in terms of potential sales and their brand perception. Savewater.com.au are benefiting as well in the form of sponsorships and Nylex’s involvement in their competitions and events.
